Hello Photo Walkers,
I went out to check on the blossoms yesterday, this is a photograph that I took of a pear tree bud. Looks like the cooler than normal March has delayed the blossoms a little. The weather is looking really nice for Sunday, even if the blossoms don’t appear for us there is still a lot of interesting things to photograph in the area including the old train station, buildings, flowers and of course Mount Hood.

What is a photo walk? It’s simply a social event where photographers of every skill level meet, photograph and have fun.
We will begin at the new Solera Brewery located in the middle of the historic town of Parkdale. This little town is surrounded by pear orchards that should be in full bloom, it’s also a stop for the tourist train Mount Hood Express.
At 6:30 we will return to Solera and look at some of your favorite images together.
Solera has great food and drink that can be purchased at the event.
Bring a friend, your camera and lets go photowalking!

Sonja came over on a rainy day and wanted to go to the beach for her senior portrait. We set up the studio in such a way we could make the background whatever we wanted it to be.
I’m editing a video for The Hood River County Chamber of Commerce on the Roy Webster Cross-Channel Swim . This is a frame from a clip where I caught my friends Tricia and Scott kissing as the boat was leaving the dock. I’m really looking forward to summer.

Everett and his family came to the studio Friday for a photo shoot, he was such a wonderful good natured baby, we had a lot of fun and got some great photos.
